Step 1: Full Backup of Your Current Site

• The Files: Use your current File Manager or FTP to download your public_html folder.

• The Database: Go to phpMyAdmin, select your database, and click Export. Save this as an .sql file.

• The Configs: Note down your database name, username, and password—you’ll need these to reconnect everything on the new server.

Step 2: Set Up Your AsusHost Environment

1. Select PHP Version: We recommend PHP 8.2 or 8.3 for maximum speed and security.

2. Create Your Database: Use the “MySQL Database Wizard” to create a new database and user. Keep these credentials handy.

• Upload Files: Use the cPanel File Manager to upload your site files into the public_html directory.
